The content types that feed both their own pages and the page-builder widgets.
Each of these has its own admin screen, its own public page, and a matching page-builder widget. Write the item once and it appears wherever you place that widget.
Blog
Blog → Categories first, then Blog → Posts. A post needs a title, a feature image, a category and body content. The SEO tab on each post controls how it looks in search results and when shared — worth filling in for anything you want found.
Scheduled posts stay hidden until their date passes. Drafts are never public.
Services, Portfolio, Testimonials, FAQ, Gallery
Same pattern: create the items, then place the matching widget on a page, choose how many items to show and in what order.
Staff and Users
Staff are the people who can log into your admin. Users Manage are your site's customer accounts. Give staff the narrowest role that lets them do their job.
Media library
Every upload lands in Media. Two habits pay off:
- Give images a descriptive file name before uploading —
oak-dining-table.jpg, notIMG_8123.jpg. It becomes the image's alt text if you set nothing else, which helps image search and screen readers. - Resize photos to roughly the size they will display. A 4000px photo in a 600px slot only makes the page slower.
